The CFO & Business Consulting team transforms finance functions through innovative, tech-enabled strategies. From shared service enablement and business process outsourcing to financial close optimization, they help organizations streamline operations and tackle complex accounting challenges. By combining industry best practices with data-driven insights, the team drives process efficiency, enhances analytics, and supports sustainable growth through modernized financial operations.
What You Will Do:
- Provide executive oversight of a diverse portfolio of client engagements across Insurance, Banking, Financial Services, and Corporate sectors, ensuring strategic alignment, resource optimization, and delivery excellence throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Scope, plan, and budget complex, multi-phase projects; oversee engagement progress, quality assurance of deliverables, and lead closing meetings with client management, serving as the primary point of contact for both the Partner and client.
- Champion the firm's consulting vision by shaping and executing growth strategies, driving service innovation, and leading market expansion initiatives.
- Lead high-impact business development efforts, cultivating C-suite relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and securing strategic engagements that support the firm's long-term goals.
- Oversee financial and operational performance of the consulting practice, including revenue growth, profitability, resource planning, and risk management, ensuring all work is delivered to the highest technical standards and in line with firm quality requirements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives and boards, delivering strategic insights on finance transformation, ERP modernization, and enterprise performance improvement.
- Lead and empower a team of Managers, Seniors, and Juniors across a portfolio of projects, fostering a high-performance culture through strategic coaching, proactive succession planning, and comprehensive leadership development.
- Build and develop strong working relationships with clients and senior stakeholders within the firm, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and long-term relationship health.
- Ensure all work is undertaken to budget, meets client KPIs, and complies with relevant regulatory requirements and firm policies.
- Represent the firm in the market, enhancing brand visibility through thought leadership, public speaking, industry engagement, and strategic partnerships.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across service lines to deliver integrated solutions, maximize client value, and expand the firm's footprint within key accounts.
- Continuously evaluate market trends and emerging technologies, guiding the evolution of service offerings to maintain competitive advantage and relevance.
- Support senior management in the development of the practice by leveraging experience to identify and implement new initiatives, ideas, and processes.
- Act as a role model, developing and mentoring team members, and ensuring standards and procedures are maintained by the whole team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 11+ year(s) of relevant experience in public accounting or industry
- Strong relevant technical expertise
- Previously held leadership role with direct responsibility for supervising and guiding team members
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution
- Master's degree
- Prior consulting experience
