Position Title:

External Description: Description & Requirements

This role will provide sales and use tax compliance services, which include the preparation and filing of sales and use tax returns, along with the processing of related payments. The position may also be asked to assist with notice resolution, registrations, and account setup.

How you will contribute:

• Preparation of sales tax data received from clients to be used in sales and use tax return processing
• Preparation of sales and use tax returns for various taxing jurisdictions
• Electronically file sales and use tax returns on the taxing jurisdiction's website
• Process sales and use tax payments for clients as part of the return filing process
• Must be reliable and able to meet monthly deadlines
• Obtain a working knowledge of the sales and use tax return preparation software

We are looking for people with Forward Vision and:

• Communicate with clients clearly and professionally while establishing and maintaining positive relationships with them.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential business matters
• Exercise a strong sense of professional ethics and judgment
• Effectively collaborate with visitors, clients, staff, and coworkers in a professional manner

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Accounting/Finance
• Strong preference for at least one year of tax compliance or related business experience including client accounting or accounting service
• Thorough working knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
• Sales tax experience is preferred but not necessary as we will train the desired individual
