Forvis Mazars International Tax Services (ITS) Group strives to help companies as they work to achieve tax efficiency in their international operations. From major multinationals already operating in several countries to smaller businesses planning their first foray abroad, companies face a daunting array of regulations and tax concerns that impact and inform their global business decisions. With an international perspective and local experience, our ITS professionals provide practical advice on establishing new ventures and contracts, structuring overseas transactions in a tax-efficient manner, managing their effective tax rates, and maintaining compliance with tax and trade regulations.
How you will contribute:
- Managing and developing US international tax planning strategies and projects and their implementation
- Tax consulting in a professional environment for the effective diagnosis, solution, development, and implementation of tax solutions
- Partnering with business leaders for international transactions, IC-DISC administration and compliance, and ASC 740 tax provision
- Researching complex tax issues and preparing technical memos and documentation
- Working with tax professionals domestically and internationally
- Quantitative analysis
- Managing, developing, and coaching professional staff
- Ability to recognize areas of opportunity through critical evaluation and identify solutions
- Experience with working in a variety of industries
- Dedication to client service

- A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Masters in Taxation, Masters in Accounting or JD/LLM (with undergraduate in business-related field)
- Minimum of 5 years of business tax experience
- Experience with other large accounting firms or large corporate tax department of a multinational company
- Consulting and compliance experience
- Experience with ASC 740
- CPA license
- Experience with IC-DISCs
- Experience with GoSystem Tax RS and Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE
- International tax experience
