Position Title:

How you will contribute:

• Provide proficient knowledge and capabilities in Sage Intacct application design, including the functional configuration, business processes, and technical architecture of the system
• Competent and capable of:
• Formally assessing a client's current accounting system and business functions to document processes for the design for the Intacct system in the areas of
• General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Order Management, Purchasing, Cash Management, Reporting and Dashboards, Inventory Management, Project Accounting, Time and Expense Management, Allocations, and Revenue Management.
• Providing day-to-day technical application support for client companies
• Assisting clients with management reporting including budgeting, KPIs and other metrics
• Research, discovery, and creation of new business technologies to streamline and grow the practice including opportunities with existing clients
• Manage Sage Intacct Accountants Program (SIAP) client engagements and co-lead the proposal process for prospective clients
• Represent Forvis Mazars in the professional and business community

• Ability to clearly and concisely emphasize key objectives
• Ability and awareness to recognize when an approach is not effective and can pivot to a different approach seamlessly
• Aptitude and passion to learn new software(s) and other technologies

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
• Minimum of 6 years of combined experience in public accounting or industry accounting operations, including experience with Sage Intacct
• Some travel required (to client locations, Forvis Mazars practice offices and/or conferences, events)
• Understanding of accounting cycles' best practices and other critical business functions (e.g. data security, internal controls, monthly close process, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Accounting or Finance Department leadership experience
• CPA or CMA certificate
• Sage Intacct Accounting Specialist Certification
• Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist
• Bill.com experience
• Expense management technology experience
• Microsoft Power M language experience
• Business development experience
