Our firm provides assurance services that go beyond the compliance function. Alongside the rest of our team, you will bring credibility to our client's financial picture, communicate information objectively and clearly, and provide insight to help clients improve their businesses. Serve as a connection point for German Group audit teams and their German clients to help address their needs in the US. Provide audit services, demonstrating to German multinational corporate clients that there is real value in the audit process. Apply knowledge of rules and regulations over financial reporting and deliver high quality audits, providing business insight and value to German clients. Assist German audit teams in the targeting, pursuit and acquisition of new multi-national engagements.

How you will contribute:

• Assisting with managing, developing, and coaching professional staff
• Carrying out the detailed audit, review, and compilation engagement procedures
• Adequately identifying audit risks and problems through review to ensure audit engagements are completed with defendable files and documentation
• Consistently identifying engagement and operating opportunities for improvement and providing timely solutions and consultation
• Managing multiple concurrent engagements without disruption or loss of control and within scheduled deadlines
• Managing multiple US and German client relationships, billings, and resource needs
• Build personal referral sources and clientele while actively participating in team marketing opportunities
• Leading audit committee meetings presentations
• Participating in speaking and article writing opportunities
• Completing CPE specific to assigned industries
• Traveling to serve clients as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 9 years of audit experience in public accounting
• CPA license
• Must demonstrate written and oral fluency in German in order to perform job duties which require communication with non-English speaking clients in the German language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting
• Experience managing multiple complex client engagements

New York City Pay Transparency

Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. FORVIS reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
