The Technology Consulting team drives digital transformation through strategic planning, platform modernization, and lifecycle management. In this role, you will translate business needs into actionable requirements for the technology teams, ensuring clarity between key business stakeholders and technical teams. You will support Agile delivery by shaping business requirements, validating outcomes, and enabling seamless handoffs.
What You Will Do:
- Lead requirements gathering efforts with business, operations, change, and technology stakeholders to define scope, outcomes, and priority needs
- Own the development and refinement of business requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring consistency, completeness, and readiness for delivery
- Proactively surface and manage requirement gaps, risks, dependencies, and blockers; drive mitigation plans and align resolutions with project leadership
- Document current-state and future-state processes, producing process maps and workflow diagrams to support solution design and change adoption
- Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to validate outcomes against requirements
- Facilitate and actively contribute to Agile delivery ceremonies (planning, refinement, stand-ups, reviews, retros) to ensure requirements are executed effectively
- Own requirements traceability in Agile tools (e.g., Azure DevOps), ensuring story quality, linkage, and auditability across deliverables
- Provide day-to-day support to Product Owners and Project Managers by driving coordination, documentation, and status visibility across workstreams
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, requirements definition, and/or technology consulting delivery
- Exposure to Agile delivery concepts and practices
- Experience creating process artifacts such as process maps, workflow diagrams, and requirement documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing backlogs in Agile tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)
- Prior consulting experience supporting technology-enabled transformation initiatives
- Experience with insurance and/or underwriting processes
- Experience working in Scrum teams and using Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, or other work management tools
- Familiarity with common BA tools (e.g., Visio, Miro)
- Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP) is a plus

Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. Forvis Mazars reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
