Position Title:

External Description: Description & Requirements

The A&A PSG team is looking for an experienced individual to provide proactive support to our PCAOB audit engagement teams on risk assessment, audit approaches and complex audit challenges to improve quality and build teams.

How you will contribute:

  • Provide suggestions for improvement to PCAOB audit methodology team members, e.g., robustness, efficiency ideas, effectiveness ideas, alignment with standards and regulator expectations, etc.
  • Provide real-time coaching to and assistance to enhance the skills and knowledge of PCAOB engagement teams to handle complex audit challenges.
  • Identify and disseminate best practices across PCAOB audit engagement teams to improve audit quality, foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement and consistency.
  • Challenge prior and / or current year approaches and provide insight and support to select engagement teams either prior to or during planning, or in-flight if needed, in predetermined focus areas to help teams address common PCAOB inspection deficiencies or other emerging issues promptly to improve audit quality

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of:
    • PCAOB Auditing Standards
    • PCAOB inspection process
  • CPA License
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects
  • Extensive experience with SEC issuers and PCAOB audits
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in public accounting
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
